Trotton "First Friday Social Evenings Why not come along to The Keepers Arms, 7.30pm
on the first Friday of each month? We are holding a meet your neighbours event and

The famous Trotton Church Fete and Duck Race managed to avoid the worst of the September
weather, and raised over £3000! The next event will be held again in early September
2012. Volunteers are now needed to help plan an even better fete for 2012. Please

Trotton Community Bonfire: 5th November 2011 - Perhaps due in part to the cancellation
of Milland bonfire at short notice, and partly because we always put on a good “do”,
we were overwhelmed with the number of people who came to Trotton bonfire this year.
Particular thanks to all those who helped construct the bonfire. It was very gratifying
that more members of the community came to help this year and it eased the burden
considerably.. Many thanks also to Carola Brown of Ballards Brewery for her donation
of beer to the event and to Keith for organising the generator and lighting at no
cost. The next bonfire will be held on Monday 5th November 2012. If anyone would
like to help organise, build, collect or cook, please contact Dave Dawtrey on 01730
814925. Funds raised go towards the costs of the next year’s event.
